Resurrecting the ashes – Nergghu naghtu hajja lill-irmied

Matthew Kassar, Anthony and Sarah plan to create a video of about 20 minutes, where they will discuss how they create artistic works. Most of the works make use of material that is usually thrown away, hence the ashes.

The material used by each artist, like newspapers, sawdust and old fabric, are transformed into a work of art. The group will also share experiences where they worked artistically together and how the light of the Ideal influences even the way they paint. Each painter will also exhibit one of their paintings and explain the story behind it. The video gives the opportunity to Matthew to be present since he will be with the Gen 3 at the time this group will be meeting.

A discussion will then follow with the persons present in the group.

The video will be in Maltese and will need to be transcribed for the British audience. The discussion will take part in Maltese and in English.
