Combatants for Peace (Part 2)
In June New City published the story of Bassam Aramin, a Palestinian Arab, who is part of Combatants for Peace, an organisation which proposes non-violence and dialogue as the way to a lasting peace in Israel. This month Oren Kalisman, 30, a physics student at Tel Aviv University tells his story. During his time in the Israeli army he was a lieutenant and platoon commander.
