ECUMENISM
Fifty years of friendship
In 1966 the historic meeting in Rome between Archbishop Michael Ramsay and Pope Paul VI ushered in a new era of ecumenism which gave members of both Churches the prospect of unity after 400 years of separation. The 50th anniversary of that historic occasion was marked by a meeting between Pope Francis and the Anglican Primate Justin Welby.

PROFILE
